In order to enrich the life and help enhance the comprehensive quality of graduate studentsof the Department of Mechanical Engineering,"The JianXing Cup" graduate student basketball competition kicked off on October 26th,sponsored by the Graduate Student Union of theDepartment of Mechanical Engineering.

There were 7 teams in the wholeseason,builtfrom all the 13 classes of graduate students.After the one-month group match, four teams entered the knockout stage. They were 183, 171, 161, which were named with the class name, and the Senior Unitedfrom the senior students.

The final gamesstarted at the Sports Center on December 23rd. After fierce confrontation, 161 won the championship, the Senior United won the runner-up, 171 won the third place, and 183 won the Sports Fashion Award.

This competition cultivated the sense of collective honor and promoted communication amonggraduate students. Meanwhile, it provided an opportunity for freshman and senior students to communicate and enhanced the friendship among the classes.
