In the next 5 to 10 years, the Department of Mechanical Engineering in Tsinghua University will continuously attract outstanding students from domestic and abroad. By creating favorable study environment and through trinity cultivation mode of pedagogical reform, capacity building and knowledge impartment, the Department of Mechanical Engineering will establish a complete teaching quality assurance system to ensure that graduates can be competitive in talent market.

The Department of Mechanical Engineering will construct a teaching team of international standard through talent introduction and talent cultivation and achieve innovations on frontier mechanical discipline and intersectional field through high level scientific research.
