Areas of Research Interests/Research Projects

Superconducting electric rotating machines for power grids, wind turbines and electric aircraft.

High-temperature superconducting magnets for high-field solenoid magnets, particle accelerator magnets and fusion tokamak.

Fundamental electromagnetic and mechanical phenomena in high-temperature superconducting magnets: ac loss, quench, screening current effect and induced strain, mechanical damage and key manufacturing techniques.

Honors and Awards

2023 2nd Award for Beijing Technology Invention (9/10), “Multi-physics design methods, key technologies of high-temperature superconducting magnets and their applications”, Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission.
