Areas of Research Interests/ Research Projects

Research focuses on the detection and regulation of frictional energy dissipation at interfaces in high-end equipment, with key contributions including:

· Development of ultrahigh spatiotemporal-resolution instruments for frictional energy dissipation detection.

· Theoretical frameworks for ultrafast electron energy dissipation at superlubricity interfaces.

· Mechanisms of defect-induced effects on ultrafast frictional energy dissipation.
